My Review:

Stacey and all her friends and boyfriend from high school are now graduated and taking a summer away from it all before college.  Stacey wants nothing more than to have a "normal" summer, one that she doesn't have nightmares or people to worry about saving.  Unfortunately that isn't the case.  After a few nights away, Stacey starts dreaming about a girl they just met at the beach...and the danger that girl is in.  It's hard to help a stranger that doesn't fully understand her, but Stacey feels the need to "save" this girl, Clara.  Things are made even harder to cope with and figure out when Clara seems to be very immature and also a "man eater" of any guy she meets, whether he is taken or not.  Soon Clara is trying to break up all of them on vacation.  Why should they help her now?  Can Stacey figure out the danger and fix it for Clara without the help of her friends, who don't care at all about Clara now?  Why is Jacob so secretive about where he goes at night and why is he always seeming to be gone when Stacey looks for him?  Is he intertwined somehow with the danger Clara is facing?  Should Stacey be wavering in her trust for her true love?

Like the other two books before this one, I loved it.  I really feel like this author has down the element of suspense and mystery.  She really has the knack of getting the reader so into the book they forget what they are doing and where they really are.  It's like being transported into Stacey, the main character, and feeling what she is feeling and going through what she is.  I think this is what makes this book a quick read too.  You get into the plot and the goings on of it all and just can't put it down until you know what is really going on and going to happen.  I was a bit disappointed in the ending of this book, but not because it was a horrible one, just because I wasn't expecting what happened to happen at all!  It completely took me by surprise!  As I read on in this series I fall more and more in love with the characters and will continue to read on in the series too, to see where they all end up or go from here.  With how some things were left in this book, I can't wait to read on to see how things turn out with the friends.  Also, the transition from high school to college should be interesting to see in them too, as that is a big step and change in anyone's life, fictional character or real person.  Wonderful book, wonderful continuation, and terrific author!!  I think this may have been one of my favorite books of this series because of all the action and drama that just had me hooked.

5/5 Stars!!!
