Spring brings beautiful blue skies and amazing flowers!
It inspired this simple breakfast table!
The butterfly egg coddlers set the color scheme
Blue, white and yellow
The dinner plates are some from my dish closet and I think the little flower detail is fun!
A blue lunch plate, milk glass bowl and the egg coddler completes the stack
The bright yellow place mat is a sunny way to start the day! The glass is vintage and is good for juice or milk...your choice!
The floral napkins with the faceted napkin rings pick up all the colors
Simple white handled flatware completes the place setting
I grabbed a blue jar for a vase and added some flowers from my yard...white Azaleas were in bloom at the time and some yellow 'weeds' but I like how they added another color
My salt and pepper shakers have hummingbirds etched on them
More blues and yellows
Thanks for joining me for a spring breakfast!
Wishing you JOY,
Linda

Linda, so lovely! The blue, white, and yellow combination is just so pretty. Love the egg coddlers. (Didn't know that's what they were called). And of course I adore your flowers in the blue bottle.

Very, very pretty. That blue jar you used for a vase is such a nice color. I looked through several of your former tablescape posts - you are very talented. Very inspiring! -Dawn

Linda - how sweet is this! I have always wanted to collect egg coddlers, but I used my willpower not to start down that road - lol!! Absolutely love yours! Your are right about the flowers on the dinner plates. They are lovely. Love those napkins and how they pull everything together!!
Linda, the blue and yellow is so pretty. The soft colors surely do make a spring statement.
Hi Linda! Oh, what a pretty table. Love the little coddlers! I never knew what these were until I found your blog. The plates with the tiny little flowers are so sweet. Such a lovely table and wish I could be sitting across from you eating our eggs!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Linda, I love the pure simplicity of your morning tablescape. Blue & yellow are always a hit!
I am sooo envious of your pretty butterfly egg coddlers...I need to find some for our house, as DH loves eggs that way.
Hope you're having a lovely week,
fondly,
Rett
Lovely table, Linda...I keep looking for egg coddlers...they must be more popular in the south because I never find any here!
Have a great week...
So pretty, what a wonderful way to start the day. Egg coddlers, never knew! the soft yellows and blues look so lovely together!

So pretty, Linda. These colors are just perfect for Spring time. Those egg coddlers are gorgeous, and I love the way the soft blues in the plate picks up the color in the coddlers. If those are weeds with your Azalea blooms, they are some pretty weeds. laurie
Beautiful table setting! Love the egg coddlers.
Linda I would love to walk down stairs in the morning and see this table setting and have breakfast. That would be wonderful! sandie
So the flowers got you goin', huh? I'm all for that! It's not everyday that we are able to enjoy fresh flowers straight from our own yards (certainly not here in the Midwest!), so I'm glad to see you're taking advantage of the opportunity!
Blue, white & yellow has always been a favorite color combination of mine, and you have put it together here in a way that makes it very inviting for breakfast. The egg coddlers are just too cute, and I LOVE those napkin rings!!!!!!!!!
Enjoy your weekend, Linda! I hope it brings you lots more fresh, fragrant flowers!
