My Review:

Emerald thought she finally was going to have her happy ending with Joe, her fiance, that she wanted since she said yes.  Her weeks before her "big day" are anything but stress free or only about wedding planning issues.  Not only does Emerald have to deal with her family being in town for the wedding, many of which she is not crazy about, but she soon finds nothing but trouble on her doorstep and in every step she takes.  Joe, her fiance, is shot and the prime suspect is her ex husband, Roy, who just happened to show up at the pre-wedding party.  Roy is not a happy camper and is anything but happy that Emerald is getting married again, when his second marriage just ended.  Mur, her best friend and maid of honor is being stalked to top that all off.  As if there wasn't enough stress.  Emerald has to find out who shot Joe because she highly doubts Roy really did it, who is stalking Mur because she can't have a maid of honor who is distracted by worrying for her life and the lives of those around her, and she still has a shop, kids, and family to worry about and deal with.  Can she solve all those issues at all, much less before her wedding in a couple weeks?  Will everyone still be around to attend the wedding?  Why is everything seeming to be going wrong when it comes to her wedding and things surrounding it?  Is it a sign of some kind?

I just can't say enough good things about this series, book, or author!  I feel a connection to the book and to the characters when I read the books of this series, that only grows the more I read.  I love the plots, the writing, and the characters.  I don't think there is anything to not like with these books, at least for me there wasn't.  As I read, I feel like the characters are friends of mine that I am following along on their life's journey.  This book, just like the others, is action packed and fast paced.  I just couldn't put it down once I started reading it.  I love how the plot becomes apparent right away and also how there was other side plots too, but they never seemed too much or confusing...they all just seemed to fit together.  Galenorn really has down how to make the reader want to read on in the book and how to keep the readers interest and entertain the reader from start to finish.  My favorite part of this book was that it had many twists and turns that kept you guessing until the very end.  The characters were amazing!  I have loved them from the first book I met them in, but they just keep growing and developing more and more.  Another great part about this book and this author, is the fact that even though it is a later book in this particular series, it stood very well on it's own too.  You would definitely be able to pick it up and read it without having read the rest of the series or having read only part of the series.  Galenorn again did great with filling in any gaps you may have had if you didn't read any or all of the other books.  This book was just a great and very enjoyable read for me.  Definitely a book I would recommend to any mystery reader.

5/5 Stars!!!
