Led by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields, we take the photo offered and weave our magic with prose and poetry to entertain you. All around the world writers eagerly await their weekly tonic. Now there are just as many readers impatiently watching their cvalendars for the magical day.
Many times the photo featured for the prompt comes from one of the writers involved in our ever enlarging circle. This week, Claire Fuller is the photo provider. I hope you will check out her blog with the link in her name .
Due to a popular requests I am keeping Detective Sophie Marcus as my main character for these weekly photo adventures. In the previous installment Sophie is brought in to investigate a murder at a writing conference. You can catch up by reading “The Hornet Chronicles“.

“So you are part of the writer’s conference?” Sophie asked.
“Yes, There are twenty-five of us here. Well, I guess twenty-four now.”
“Any knowledge of a problem between the victim and others attending the conference?”
“Honestly detective it could be anyone. David, Carrie, E.L., Janet or anyone else. All of us had disparaging reviews of our books posted online by her. With the five year contract being awarded at the end of the conference someone could earn two million dollars if they meet all the incentives,” Ted told her.
“Money as a motive again?” Sophie asked.
