I realize I am late but yesterday I was still working on my sewing project....
... making a table runner and napkins to go with my apple dishes my mom gave me.. When I saw this fabric I just loved it....
I wanted something to make this dishes appropriate in all seasons, not just autumn!

With its birds, butterflies and lovely blue, it just charmed me , but I knew it was too narrow to make a tablecloth so I made this runner!
A few apple blossoms and a bluebird and nest completed my vignette!
Finishing the napkins helped busy my hands as I watched the unfolding of the news today which is made more poignant as our daughter lives in the area.... Praise God she is safe, but I feel so intensely for that community and the gamut of feelings that they must be enduring... My prayers for with them for a speedy and unremarkable capture of the Boston suspect..
Meanwhile, here, my beautiful tablescape added a bit of sunshine to a rather dreary day!
Now that I have my machine in good working order,, I am excited about future projects!!!!
