Lord Meacham & Lady Delores
Happy Tablescape Thursday and Happy Holidays to all!! Thank you for visiting my contribution to this weeks Tablescape Thursday, hosted by the talented Susan of the blog Between Naps On The Porch.
This post is dedicated to Delores of Vignette Design and Scot of The Adventures of Tartanscot who were the direct inspirations behind my theme.
They were the two people I thought about the entire time I put this vignette together. Both Delores and Scot have a wonderful fascination with Tartan plaids and have shared many creative ways of incorporating the patterns into their designs.
They are perfect examples of how wonderful blogs offer design inspirations. I had a lot of fun with this project. It propelled me into the holiday decorating spirit.

Oh Julio....this is FABULOUS! Sooooo lush with color & texture! You have so many gorgeous items, I don't know where to start.
That stemware makes my heart skip a beat. I've been coveting some Waterford Red for a long time. I must be extra nice to Santa this year!
The gold tassel around the fork is a really neat idea, as are the lamps, decanters & horses on the table. So creative! I never think outside the box like that. *sigh*
Delores has long been a wonderful source of inspiration. I am not familiar with Scot, so I'm off to check out his blog right now. Thank you for the links & thanks for sharing your wonderful talents with tables!!!!
Mega Hugs & Merry Christmas!!
Rett
Be still my heart. I agree with Rett, the table (and room) are a feast for the eyes! What to look at, the candelabras, the stemware, the leopard chair, the bookcase, etc... You have amazing taste and an eye for the elegant, the unusual, the perfect way to put them together.
Thank you, Julio, for sharing.
If only you were my neighbor...
Hugs, janie
This is beautiful, Julio. It's funny cause when I saw your tablescape, I was thinking to myself that it looks so much like what Delores would put together, and then I read your description. Everything in is just gorgeous!...Christine

Julio, This is beyond beloved tattan. These are images and settings fit for Scottish royality. Rich, luxe, and weighty with color and oppulence!
I will spend a whole evening pouring over each delightful detail.
We are part of the Buchannan clan, so tartan is near and dear to my heart.
Gorgeous offering. Thank you so much!
Yvonne

I am absolutely....no words here! This is gorgeous!!! I love the sumptuous look, the heady colors, the rich tones. It's all just the kind of look I love! The stemware is seriously fabulous!!!
Oh Julio, you brought tears to my eyes--not only because you were inspired by little ole me, but also because this is the most gorgeous table ever! I love Tartan so much, and to see it mixed with leopard too is just amazing. The RL plates are fabulous. It all looks fit for royalty! ( I didn't realize until today that I've been mixing tartan, leopard and paisley together forever. In my bedroom! Yep, I have leopard sheets, tartan sheets, as well as paisley shams. haha)
xoxo Delores
PS: I hope you submitted this post to Tartanscot, because you win--hands down Julio! Fabulous!

Julio, this is just gorgeous! Tartan plates? My son is also a tartan-o-phile (is that a word?), so I will definitely send him a link to your sumptuous table! It looks so inviting, with the gleaming silver and fresh greenery -- stunning!
Hi Julio, what an incredibly beautiful table. I especially love the back drop of your wonderful books. so inspiring.
Very vivid colors and I think the tartan plaids work really well for a Christmas theme.

Very nice table setting, but I am curious as to why the fork and knife are both placed on the left side of the plate. I have not seen this manner of placement before. A new style perhaps?
I love Delores and Scott's blogs and their decorating styles! Julio, you are such an inspiration to all of us...love this table setting and the gorgeous room I see in the background. Love everything you do!
