"Nutcracker Sweets" AND my Beautiful New Tablecloth!

"Inside these brown packages Tied with the prettiest ribbon" and accompanied by a wonderful card adorned with "FIESTAWARE" lies the most BEAUTIFUL tablecloth and little nutcrackers EVER!!! I WAS SO excited and although I wanted to savor EVERY moment of the wrapping, I wasn't able to hold out from "Ripping into their creamy middles"!
"Clara & I both want to Thank Candy and send her Big Hugs for her generous gift for today's tablescape"... a while back you may remember "The Excitement when I heard I had WON her Wonderful Nutcracker Tablecloth"...
"Clara has set the table to HER liking and it consisted of Sweets and Hot Chocolate"! She said the Sugar gives her the energy to Whirl around the Stage in order to gain SO much Applause for her Performance... I will "Have to have a talk with that girl"!!! BUT for now... I will join in on a Mug of Hot Chocolate!!!
You "Can NOT" appreciate this tablecloth unless you see it in person! It is RICH in Color and texture beyond your dreams!!! "Oh how I LOVE IT!!!
Clara is inviting "Everyone" to accompany her over to Candy's Wonderful "Little Round Table", she ALWAYS has the best Treats over there and You will never want to leave! "We'll be waiting for you @ http://happenstancestuffhappens.blogspot.com/
My VERY Favorite Vintage Poinsettia Glasses are protected under the cloche. There is SO Much GOLD on these glasses that I'm sure I should probably store them in a safe deposit box off season!!! I created my pedestal with an outdoor urn and that wonderful Black&White checkered plate I resently Found on a TJMaxx clearance... Marty the "Cloche is for you"!!! AND I'm going to be serving you Homemade Eggnog in those special glasses!
LOTS of treasures here. Let me start with my favorite little nutcracker peeking over the Heisey horse. He is one of many that Candy gave me to match my tablecloth(Hugs to you Candy!!!)... The Heisey horse was my Mom's. It was a gift to her AGES ago from her sister WHO lived in Newark, Ohio, where the Heisey glass Co was(How LUCKY to live in that town). I always LOVED horses and "That was the very first thing I collected as a girl"! You are sure to see this little guy "Trot Our Way" now and then in future posts... The Hot Chocolate Mugs I bought in the early 70s, I LOVED them then AND "I Love them now". Just look at them, their shape is SO much fun(they have the appearance of Toy Soldier Guards or in this case Nutcrackers) and do you see the Sweet Whipped Cream Frothing out??? Last you will notice "My Nutcracker Squirrel King", there will be no Mouse King here, Clara Prefers her Squirrel King AND I totally approve! This guy was a gift from my Dear German friend Ginny... Actually all the antique hand created doilies are too! Hugs to you my Sweet Ginny!!!

These little napkin rings are LENOX... Clara and I Always look for lil' birdies to grace our tables... They are Pure Pleasures of Life... "Please feel free to sing to us Lil' birdie", your song enriches our days!
We hope you enjoyed your stay AND be sure to stroll around my other posts AND come back soon... I would LOVE,LOVE,LOVE new FOLLOWERS too... We can NEVER have enough friends...
My last words here MUST BE "Thank you Candy for your Generous Gift". I will never see a nutcracker or here its song without thinking of you. I also never see a piece of Fiestaware without the vision of it on "Your Little Round Table"... Have a wonderful Day!!! and Hugs to you

Always!!!http://happenstancestuffhappens.blogspot.com/

I'm so glad that you won my give-away. It was meant to live with you and Clara. :-) I'll be posting my Nutcracker tablescape from 2009 for tomorrow's Sunday Favorites at Happy To Design for another look at this lovely cloth. I'm already planning how to use mine for 2011!

Congrats again!

Congratulations! I was so surprised when I saw that vintage cloth on Candy's blog, because I have the same vintage cloth. Mine is rectangular, and I LOVE the round one. You carried out the Nutcracker theme wonderfully! All of your pretty table accesories are perfect for the theme. Love your squirrel (I agree with you and Clara-no mice for me either!) Thank you for linking this fun post to Favorite Things. laurie
