It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Well, it's time to deck the hall, jingle all the way, and Mommy of course will caught kissing Santa Claus.
There will be pies and cookies to bake, presents to wrap, songs to be sung, snowmen to be made, snowball fights to be won and the list goes on..... At my house we are starting with "Decking The Halls"

I love to decorate my house for Christmas but this year after having broke my finger and injured two others, face cancer and turning 50...frankly I was just tired. So I called my BFF and decorator exstrodinair Tammy and we struck a deal. So I didn't have to decorate my house this year. I just get to sit back and enjoy it. I did have input of course and we did a little shopping together (why...I am not sure) because I have collected a ton of Christmas things over the years. But we had a certain look in mind and once it was done I gave all the extra to charity! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

First the mess....you know you have to go through everything and see what you have!

And this is not all of it but I was too embarrassed to show it all to you :)

And now the fun begins......

My tree is so beautiful and so different than anything I have ever had. I just love it!

I love the topper. I usually use an angel or a star, but probably never will again!

The banisters are probably my favorite. I just never get around to decorating them. But this year they are spectacular!

I love the simplicity of just filling jars with Christmas balls.

I bought these wreaths last year but sure like them better with all the new decorations. Just have to find a way next year to hide the cords. And a swag or something to soften the look of the blinds.

This little black table in my kitchen is one of my favorite things. I had it for years and it was a hunter green color. I always wanted to paint it but only got around to it this year...well actually Tammy painted
it!

Our family has grown so much and so fast Scott and I had to move our stocking to the fireplace in the family room. But we sure don't mind. Just keep those grandbabies coming!

I love to change out the plates in this rack for all my parties and holidays. It's a fun accent.

Couldn't forget over the stove. It still needs something but just not sure what.

Or over the pantry.

Tammy made this amazing wreath. I love the ribbon, and how it is big enoughto fill the large empty space over the stairs.

I have always hated this mantel. It is short and not deep enough. But Tammy managed to make it look wonderful for Christmas.

I still don't have any curtains but as soon as I find someone that can make them for me I will. We needed a little color and needed to stay within the budget and I think these work just fine.

May only joy, peace, happiness, love and the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ fill your home this holiday season and always!

Beautiful!! Our house is in a bit of hmmm how should I say.. A Mess :) We're remodeling again so my decorating may be limited to a 12" ceramic Pug Christmas tree!
Really beautiful - makes me want to create something festive of my own! :)

Wow! Look at all of your beautiful Christmas decorations! I would be filled with the Christmas spirit if I came for a visit! Your tree is so pretty ... as are your banisters (so miss having banisters to decorate). Your wreaths scattered around are the perfect touch, too! And, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a SWEET note about my nutcracker mantel ... I'm more than flattered and appreciative. *Becca*

Hi Cricket! Wow! Your Christmas decor looks amazing and I especially love those giant snowflakes hanging in front of your bay window! You are a lady after my own heart using all of the red. I'm sorry to hear that you have had such a rough year but it sounds like your faith, family and friendships have been a tremendous blessing in the midst of it all. Thanks so much for joining the Inspiration Friday party this week and I hope to see more of you in the future! :-)
Blessings,
Vanessa

So many inspiring ideas you have given me! You're red glittery star snowflake, where did you find that? I just designed one just like that on my computer, printed out a pattern, cut it out of foam board, and then glittered in white. Whew!
Thank you for linking up to "Amaze Me Monday" blog party. Hope to see you next week!
